The Sector 9 Lookout Complete Skateboard, 9.6-Inch x 42.0-Inch deservedly has an excellent reputation. It rides like it is floating on air and handles like it is on rails.
High Quality Components
Sector 9 products are generally considered the Mercedes Benz of longboards. They cost more than some of the lesser known boards, but you get what you pay for.
The bearings are so good that after you spin the wheels they keep rotating for about 30 seconds.
You’ll pay a higher upfront fee for a Sector 9 but you’ll save on not needing to pay for upgrades as you would with a cheap un-branded board.
Faster Than 45MPH?
Can you imagine what it feels like to go bombing down a hill at 45MPH on a longboard? The low drop-through deck and quality trucks gives us a smooth stable ride, coupled with some easy carving.
At 42 inches in length and with large 78mm wheels, this board is optimized as a cruising machine. Large wheels give a smooth, fast ride and reduce the risk of wearing out.
If you are a beginner you’ll find it easier to ride this board than many of its cheaper counterparts. More experienced riders will be challenged and entertained by the high performance it can offer downhill.

Customer Reviews and Scores
As you would expect from a Sector 9 longboard, it has consistently received good feedback from customers. At the time of writing this article, it averaged 4.6 out of 5 stars across 106 customer reviews.
As soon as customers take this board out of the box they are taken back by how good it looks. Trust me when I say this board will impress your neighbors and make your friends jealous!
One complaint by some customers about this board is that the nose chips quite easily if you bump it into the curb – something beginners need to be careful about. The tail doesn’t seem to be affected by this so much.
While still at the lower end of the range for Sector 9 boards, this is a great piece of kit for beginners through to advanced riders, and performs well cruising, downhill, sliding and carving.
